Summer Course: Future Adventurers

This summer course offers students a rich schedule, stipulating 20 hours of classes per week, as well as numerous on-campus and off-site events. The lessons are devoted to three aspects:

  • Basic English — improving speaking and listening skills, reading and writing, learning grammar, vocabulary, and lexicon,
  • Focus on Adventures — studying English through outdoor activities: setting up a tent, making a fire, crafting from available materials, orienteering, knot tying and survival skills. On Wednesdays after lunch, students participate in kayaking, rock climbing and raft building workshops, go ziplining,
  • Learning and Innovation — lessons focused on group project work, discussion of new technologies and research: such activities contribute to the development of communication, creativity and collaboration skills.

After classes, students can either have free time to spend in a comfortable residence or participate in exciting group activities: parties, quizzes, movie screenings and much more.

Summer Course: Citizens of the Future

  • Language level — from A2 to C1,
  • Study period — from one to six weeks.

The program is perfect for students who want to improve their English language skills and develop important social and professional skills that are in demand in the modern labor market.

The curriculum includes 20 hours of weekly study time divided into three areas:

  • Basic English: reading and writing, speaking and listening, vocabulary and grammar, 
  • Focus on communication: practicing English through writing academic essays and business reports, debates, creative writing, giving presentations,
  • Learning and innovation: group work on socially important projects developing collaboration and communication skills, creativity, critical thinking.

In addition to their main studies, students participate in community projects aimed at learning English through practice with native speakers:

  • Development of a project for cleaning the territory,
  • Writing a short survey on an urgent problem of the 21st century,
  • Creating street art about the benefits of diversity,
  • Developing an information bulletin on the importance of renewable energy,
  • Writing an article about a societal problem — for example, homelessness,
  • Writing a letter to a local parliament member about a societal problem.

Worth School Summer Camp is a seasonal camp for teenagers aged 11-16 who want to improve their English language skills and get unforgettable experiences from their summer holidays in the UK.

Summer programs are available for students of any English level, starting from A1-A2. Under the guidance of experienced native-speaking teachers, children effectively develop skills and use them more confidently in everyday life, expanding their knowledge and fostering a desire to learn English further. Students are accommodated in several residential buildings, occupying single and double rooms with full furnishings. Bathrooms in some cases may be private, but are more often located on the floor. Children of the same age and gender are living in rooms, while all students interact with each other in common recreation areas, during classes and extracurricular activities.

Students of the residence receive balanced three meals a day according to recipes from international and British cuisine. If necessary, a student can order a personal menu based on their medical restrictions or religious beliefs.
