Activities Toronto High School

Tutors (individual) are available in all subjects 6 days a week, Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 21:00 and Saturday from 9:00 to 17:00. All classes must be at least 2 hours long and are taught at FutureSkills High School. Tutoring costs depend on instructors and is payable in advance.

Entry requirements, how to apply, what is required to enrol

Toronto High School strives to personalize the learning experience for each student and in every way to meet specific educational needs. To this end, the school is ready to accept new students at any time during the school year.

Admission procedure:

  • Informal meeting between student, parent / guardian and principal. The purpose of the meeting is to determine if there is a correspondence between the needs, goals, personality of the student, programs, school culture.

The parent / guardian must bring the following documents to the interview:

  • Latest copy of signed school transcripts;
  • Copy of the student's latest report card;
  • Two passport-sized photographs;
  • Proof of payment of school fees;
  • Completed paper application forms, online forms indicating all required high school credit courses;
  • Copy of passport (pages with your photo and date of birth);
  • Address, phone number;
  • A copy of your current school performance (including your grades 9-12 high school academic history);
  • Areas of interest for higher education, for example: medicine, engineering, business.

The virtual application form allows students to set up their own password-protected accounts, allows access to notes, assignments, projects, their teacher's grades, and more.

Types of assessment:

  • English Language Assessment - if the student, parent, guardian, school principal sees a match between the potential student and the school. The next step includes an academic assessment of the student's reading, writing, and math skills. There is no evaluation fee;
  • Grades 9: Students must participate in an assessment process that lasts 2-3 hours. It is designed to determine the child's abilities in mathematics, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, reading comprehension;
  • Grades 10, 11 and 12: Students are admitted based on current academic records.

If the student is under 18 years old, notarized guardianship forms are required.
