Taylor's University is a private university, one of the leading institutions of higher education in Asia. Taylor's University has two libraries: one is located on the Lakeside campus, the second, the clinical school, in Sungai Bulokh. They boast extensive collections of electronic and printed books and online resources covering a wide range of subjects. Modern learning spaces have been prepared there for individual or group studying.

The university has a bus fleet with shuttles serving several routes in the city. With the help of shuttles, students will be able to reach remote residences and attractions.

The academic year at Taylor's University includes several semesters, lasting from the end of August to the middle of summer. Classes are held on weekdays: from Monday to Friday, and rest is provided on weekends and holidays, during seasonal vacations. Each semester ends with session weeks where students can check their academic progress.
