Ramapo College Summer Camp (New York & Washington) — a seasonal camp for students aged 10 to 20 who want to improve their English language skills and have fun during the summer holidays in one of the country's most popular tourist states. The camp is suitable for students with any initial level of language proficiency.

Students can expect a rich curriculum with lessons in small groups, diverse leisure activities, campus events and excursions. Training takes place on the Ramapo College campus — one of the well-known colleges in the state, regularly noted by national and international rankings. Its infrastructure includes not only modern classrooms but also a number of sports facilities, specialized studios and many other premises used for leisure activities.

The program also provides an opportunity to visit other cities in the region — a two-day mini-tour offers visits to Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia.

During the training period, students are accommodated in a residence on campus. The dormitory offers several types of rooms: twin rooms, and one- and two-bedroom apartments for two or four people. All rooms have private bathrooms.

Accommodation is provided on a full board basis: students receive daily balanced meals, including two American breakfasts and a prepaid meal card during excursions.

The curriculum consists not only of English lessons but also a variety of events organized both on and off campus: students can expect daytime and evening themed games, cooking workshops, talent shows, movie screenings, discos, and much more. Some days of the week are dedicated to excursions: four full-day tours and one lasting several hours:

• Broadway musical,
• Manhattan: walking tour of Times Square,
• Manhattan: Bryant Park, New York Public Library, visit to Grand Central Terminal,
• Metropolitan Museum of Art,
• Central Park: Strawberry Fields, Bethesda Fountain;
• Shopping on Fifth Avenue with a visit to St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Plaza,
• Brooklyn: walk across the famous bridge, Lower Manhattan, Wall Street, visit to the 9/11 Memorial,
• Walking tour of Hudson Yards and Chelsea, The Vessel, High Line and Chelsea Market, visit to Little Island,
• New York: Statue of Liberty, Immigration Museum on Ellis Island, ferry ride,
• American Dream entertainment center.

The leisure program also includes a two-day trip with visits to Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington and their attractions. During the tour, students stay in a hotel with half board.

The Ramapo College campus is located in the state of New Jersey, in the town of Mahwah. Occupying a green area of 300 acres, it is only a 30-minute drive from Manhattan and its world-famous attractions. The college infrastructure includes modern classroom equipment, specialized studios, sports and creative facilities.

The program is available in June-July, has several start dates and offers to choose a suitable duration for each student: two, three or four weeks of study. Each week is organized according to a busy schedule with morning English lessons, daytime and evening campus events, periodic excursions. A mini-tour of Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington can be added both during the learning process and closer to the end of the program.

Many services are already included in the course cost: full board accommodation, study materials, all campus events, numerous excursions. Additional costs will be required for administrative deposits and fees, flights, medical insurance, personal expenses.

Applicants complete the registration form, submit documents and take an online test that determines their current language proficiency level. Upon arrival on campus, enrolled students are placed in small groups and begin training on the scheduled date.

During the learning process, students periodically take small tests to track their progress in language skills, which are then reflected in the graduation certificate: it confirms the completed training and reinforces the students' desire for further study of English.

The summer course requires applicants to have a foreign passport, health insurance, a visa or US residence permit. It is aimed at students aged 10 to 20 and is suitable for students of any language level.
