Portugal Camp is an international seasonal institution with short-term programs combining English lessons and a variety of activities with visits to the attractions of two cities in Portugal: Lisbon and Porto.

Summer programs are designed for children aged 11 to 17 years old with any level of English proficiency. Students are surrounded by care and comprehensive support from qualified language center specialists from the moment of application to their departure home — staff provide students with everything they need for a comfortable stay in Portugal and unforgettable summer vacation experiences.

The curricula include a variety of extracurricular activities, from entertaining games and parties to excursions to historical and cultural sites in the region. In addition to studying the English language, students can attend Portuguese classes to delve even deeper into the history and customs of the country.

Since the programs involve travel between two cities, students will stay in two hotels: a three-star hotel in Lisbon and a four-star hotel in Porto. Both residences are located within a 10-minute drive of the city centers, near public transport stops, shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions.  The residences offer accommodation in twin rooms with full furnishings and a private bathroom in each. Cleaning, bed linen and towel changes are arranged weekly. Residents have access to a large cafeteria, laundry facilities and relaxation areas with Wi-Fi.

Regardless of where students are during the day, they are provided with balanced three meals a day.

Students are waiting for a wide range of extracurricular activities — more than 20 directions of leisure: from themed parties and outdoor recreation to cultural excursions with sightseeing, shopping and visits to entertainment centers. Some of the events included in the courses are:

• A trip to Sintra with an English-speaking guide,
• Camping in the mountains for three days,
• A boat trip on the Douro River,
• Half-day trip to Aveiro, known as «the Portuguese Venice»,
• A visit to the water park,
• A tour of the central attractions of Lisbon,
• A tour of the historical places of Porto.

Students attend English classes in bright and spacious classrooms equipped with interactive audio and video equipment. Many lessons are conducted during excursions, especially when they are aimed at practicing speaking skills and expanding vocabulary.

The summer course is organized in July-August, lasting for 10 days. During this time, students follow a busy schedule that includes set wake-up and bedtime hours, three meals a day, participation in language lessons, and on-campus and off-campus events.

The price already includes:

• A full academic program, necessary learning resources,
• A three-day camping trip in the mountains of Portugal with paintball, a rope park, rock climbing, canyoning, and other activities,
• Accommodation, three meals a day,
• A full range of campus events organized almost every day,
• Excursions to Lisbon and Porto,
• Transfers to and from the airport,
• Train transfers from Lisbon to Porto and back.

Among the additional expenses are:

• Registration fee, entrance exam fee,
• Portuguese language lessons,
• Personal expenses.

After completing the registration form and paying the enrollment fee, the admissions committee sends future students all the necessary information about arriving in Portugal. Upon arrival on campus, students take a language test, are placed in groups, and begin their studies.

Upon completing the course, graduates receive a certificate confirming their language level progress. Thanks to daily communication with native speakers, they gain confidence in using English in everyday life and effectively expand their vocabulary.

Admission of new students is conducted subject to availability. The only criterion is age — applicants must be between 11 and 17 years old. To study in Portugal, adolescents must have a foreign passport, visa or residence permit, and health insurance.
