Each student is assigned a personal mentor-curator when enrolling: he regularly meets with his ward, monitors his academic and extracurricular successes, helps to track progress and intensify the learning process, and to -resolve emerging issues. For MIUC students, a large number of additional courses and classes are available: they can focus on honing public speaking skills, writing an academic essay, properly preparing research papers, etc.

MIUC specialists are always ready to help foreign students in finding a suitable accommodation to stay during their studies. Marbella is a very hospitable city, and many European students note that living here is cheaper than in many other countries and cities, and that comfort and safety are at the same high level.

You can choose the following accommodation and food options:

• Youth hotel 330 € per month (limited number of beds) 
• Cohabitation in a house or apartment 500-600 € / month per person
• Studio 650-750 € per month
• Rent a house or apartment (1 room) 700-800 € per month
• Rent a house or apartment (2 rooms) 1000-1200 € per month.

We recommend that all students who have arrived for the first time at the course first stay in a hostel and within a few days choose the optimal conditions for a long time.

The Hostel

The recommended MIUC Marbella Inturjoven Youth Hostel is located in the heart of the Old Town, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, providing students with comfortable and cozy rooms. The territory has picturesque terraces, outdoor patios for outdoor recreation, and windows offer excellent views of the Mediterranean coast. Manicured gardens, private sports infrastructure (tennis courts, swimming pool), ample parking and high-speed Wi-Fi, located within walking distance of public transport stops make staying at the hostel even more comfortable and enjoyable.

We can give you the average cost of accommodation for students – these are all the necessary expenses awaiting you in Marbella (all prices shown are approximate):

• Accommodation = 500€/month (the better the conditions, the higher the cost; the price can be reduced by sharing a room with another student)
• Food and groceries = 300€/month
• Transportation (public and taxi) = 50€/month
• Utilities (in particular the use of cellular communications and the Internet) = 100€/ month
• Personal pocket expenses = from 250€/month
• Sports, gyms = 60€-80€/month
• Visiting restaurants and cafes: breakfast costs an average of 3€ regular dinners or lunches will cost 25€/month.
• A drink at the bar will cost 6€-10€ euros, visiting the nightclub = 12€-15€ euros
• Museum visits = museum tickets cost no more than 10€ (there are many free museums)
• Concerts, shows and live performances = 30€-80€
• Buying books: the most popular bestsellers cost up to € 25, mostly books are significantly cheaper.

The MIUC campus is located in Marbella - a picturesque, warm and hospitable town about 45 minutes from Malaga and the international airport, close to the beautiful, famous tourist port Puerto Banus. The part of the coast where the Marbella - Costa del Sol is located - is highly appreciated by tourists from all over the world: here the students are waited by the clean Mediterranean Sea, sunny sandy beaches, magnificent Andalusian cuisine and mild, favorable climate. Thanks to its innovative technical equipment, MIUC gives students the opportunity to obtain the most advanced and relevant knowledge. 

Each classroom accommodates up to 20 students, but usually groups of 12-15 people are formed. In each class there are interactive whiteboards, projectors and computers supporting NEO LMS platform, the necessary TV and audio equipment. The huge library includes not only printed but also electronic resources (for example, there are more than 7,000 publications in scientific journals), teaching aids and a variety of databases.

The facilities for extra-curricular activities, sports facilities are well prepared: students can play tennis or squash, golf, sail and kitesurf, rent a bike and go for walks on campus or to the city.

The prices already include:

To be paid additionally and not included in the tuition fee:

• Registration fee = 1200€ (non-refundable: if the student changes his mind about studying, he stays with the school, otherwise it is simply deducted from the annual cost)

For undergraduate applicants:

• Secondary School Graduation Certificate (completed secondary education),
• English language proficiency: IELTS = 6.0, TOEFL iBT = 72, Cambridge Certificate = B2, MIUC English Test = Pass.
• A copy of your passport or ID card,
• Passport-size digital photo,
• Introductory essay (about 500 words: why do you want to study here, what do you want to achieve and achieve),
• Excerpts of grades (necessarily with English/Spanish translation) from secondary school.

For Master's degree applicants:

• Bachelor's degree (3-4 years of study) or equivalent (required from an accredited educational institution), necessarily with English/Spanish translation,
• Transcripts of grades from the bachelor's course (necessarily with English or Spanish translation),
• Confirmation of English language level: IELTS = 7.0, TOEFL iBT = 95, Cambridge Certificate = C1, MIUC English Test = Pass.
• A copy of your passport or ID card,
• Passport-size digital photo,
• Introductory essay (about 500 words: why do you want to study here, what do you want to achieve and achieve).

If you have not completed the four-year Bachelor's degree program, you may be eligible to complete the final year(s) at MIUC in order to enroll in the Master's program.
