Madrid Tarragona Camp is an international camp offering three unique programs with visits to several historical cities in Spain. The courses are aimed at students aged 10-17 years old, providing not only a leisure-filled curriculum but also interactive English lessons.

Seasonal programs have many advantages, starting with unforgettable experiences from summer vacations spent in Valencia, Barcelona, Tarragona and Madrid. Each course stipulates visits and accommodation in a certain number of cities, guided tours of historical sights and cultural places, and free time for shopping. Students are surrounded by comprehensive support from qualified camp staff – teachers lead small groups, paying individual attention to each student and accompanying them throughout their stay in Spain.

The summer camp residence is located in the central area of Tarragona, just a few minutes from the beach and educational buildings. Students are accommodated in twin rooms with bathrooms, fully furnished, and free Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are changed regularly, and a thorough cleaning of the rooms is carried out weekly.

The residential building features common relaxation areas, a self-service laundry room, a cafeteria, and a gym. The residence is under 24-hour video surveillance, and residents have access to specialized staff support for a comfortable stay.

Every day, pupils are provided with hot three meals a day, regardless of their location.

The main element of the leisure program will be excursions to the sights and cultural sites of the cities. Students can expect campus events almost every day: from parties and beach recreation to interactive games and collective movie screenings. Some of the events are:

• A day trip to Barcelona: with a visit to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, the Gothic Quarter, Ciutadella and Guell parks, La Rambla street, and other places,
• A visit to the PortAventura amusement park – the largest theme park in Europe,
• A sea walk along the coast of Tarragona,
• A full day at the water park,
• Visiting the Royal Palace – one of the largest in Europe,
• Outdoor activities in the countryside of Tarragona,
• A visit to the Puerta de Alcalá monument, reminiscent of the Arc de Triomphe,
• An interactive quest through the history of Tarragona.

• Many services are already included in the cost, including accommodation and meals,
• A rich leisure plan with excursions and campus events.

Classes for summer courses are held on a modern educational campus located in Tarragona, a two-minute walk from the residences and city infrastructure. Students study in classrooms with interactive audio and video equipment, and relax in dedicated areas with board games.

Summer courses are conducted in July-August, lasting about two weeks. During this time, students follow a balanced schedule including language lessons, on-campus and off-campus events.

The following services are included in the price:

• Full academic program, necessary learning materials,
• Accommodation in a residence, three meals a day,

• Excursion transfers,
• Campus events, several excursions per week.

Depending on the chosen course, the number and location of excursions will vary. Additional expenses include:

• Some excursions, for example, to PortAventura, Ferrari Land amusement park, Barcelona stadium,
• Registration fees, language test upon admission,
• Individual transfer,
• Spanish language lessons,
• Personal expenses.

Applicants complete the registration form and pay the registration fee, and then, after receiving a response from the admissions committee, fully pay for the summer program. Upon arrival on campus, they will take a language test, based on which students are assigned to groups and begin their studies.

Upon completing each course, students receive a graduation certificate confirming their progress in learning English.

Summer courses have the following age criteria for admission:

• Discover Madrid & Catalunya — 11-17 years,
• Discover Barcelona, Valencia & Tarragona — 10-14 years,
• Discover Barcelona, Madrid & Tarragona — 13-17 years.

English language proficiency is not an important criterion for admission.

To study in Spain, applicants need a foreign passport, health insurance, a visa or residence permit.
