Summer English Course

The summer program, focused on students aged 11-17, offers an intensive curriculum with almost daily English lessons, campus and off-campus events. Students of any level of English proficiency can enroll in the course — they are divided into small groups and focus on improving reading, writing, speaking and listening skills through discussions, interesting topics, joint projects. Regular conversational practice reinforces knowledge gained in class — excursions to local attractions are organized weekly for students to get acquainted with the culture and customs of the country, try national cuisine, and communicate with locals. On days when excursions are not organized, various campus events await students to strengthen team spirit and develop sports and creative abilities.
The program stipulates 40 language lessons, several excursions (for a full day and for several hours), many campus events: from master classes and interactive games to a solemn graduation ceremony.

Participants of the summer program are waited for a rich leisure plan, including almost daily campus events and numerous excursions to the sights of the region. Facilities and equipment at Heriot Watt University Summer Camp
Studying is conducted on the Heriot Watt University campus, located 25 minutes from Edinburgh's central square. The course cost covers accommodation and meals, educational materials, campus events and several weekly excursions, 24/7 staff support and other services. Administrative fees and deposits, medical insurance, flights, and personal expenses will require additional payment.
Enrolment process
Applicants need to fill out a registration form and provide documents — staff of the language center will provide all necessary information about the curriculum and arrival on campus. Candidates take an online test to determine their current language level in order to be placed in a suitable group.

A graduation certificate issued to each student upon completing the course contains information about their academic preparation and language level progress.
