Duke of York’s Dover & London English School is a language school offering a seasonal English program for students aged 11-17 with any level of language skills.
Located in Dover, on the campus of Duke of York’s Royal Military School, the language center attracts dozens of foreign students who want not only to improve their English but also to have fun during the summer holidays. Studying is organized in small groups formed according to the initial abilities of the students, so each student receives individual attention from the teacher and develops skills at a comfortable pace. In addition to exciting classes conducted in an interactive format, students can expect many events and entertainment: from almost daily sports, creative, social games to full-fledged trips around the region with sightseeing.

Students are accommodated in the residence on the Duke of York's Royal Military School grounds, occupying single and double rooms, many of which have private bathrooms. Residents have access to common areas, a dining hall, outdoor sports facilities and other infrastructure. For the three days allocated to the trip to London, accommodation is booked at a local university residence.
A balanced diet in full board format is served daily in the dining hall: two English breakfasts, lunch and dinner prepared from a varied menu. On days when students go on excursions, they are given prepaid meal cards or packed lunches.

After morning language classes, students can expect daytime and evening activities: almost every day they are organized collective interactive games based on popular movies and books, movie screenings, parties, culinary and creative workshops. Several times a week, students go on excursions — the program includes two full-day trips by private bus, four half-day trips to nearby attractions. During their stay in the language camp, students will be able to visit:

Facilities and equipment at Duke of York’s Dover & London English School
The summer camp is organized on the studying grounds of Duke of York's Royal Military School — an English boarding school located in Kent County, surrounded by the famous White Cliffs. The architecture resembles a magical castle, while the internal equipment of the academic buildings meets the latest technology standards. The campus can also boast sports facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, squash courts, two gyms and several open multi-functional areas.
The course includes the possibility of a three-day trip to London, during which students will study on a university campus.

The course runs from the beginning of July to mid-August, has several start dates, offering two duration options: one or two weeks. Each week students follow a busy schedule with morning English lessons, daytime and evening on-campus and off-site events.
The cost already includes services such as an academic plan and necessary educational materials, accommodation and meals, all campus events, most excursions. Additionally, you need to pay for personal expenses, administrative fees and deposits, medical insurance, and flights.
Enrolment process
Applicants fill out the registration form, provide documents and receive the necessary information about arrival to the campus from the center's employees. They take a language test online to accurately determine their current level of proficiency and get into a suitable group.
