Downtown Larnaca Camp is an international seasonal camp for students aged 9-17 who want to improve their English language skills and get unforgettable experiences from their summer holidays in Cyprus.

Located in Larnaca, a popular tourist destination, the camp offers students a rich program with sightseeing tours, on-campus activities, and beach relaxation. Students can expect almost daily English lessons conducted by qualified native speakers in an interactive format, which will intensively improve their overall level and regularly develop their speaking skills. In addition to all the benefits of the summer programs, students are offered comfortable accommodation and balanced meals on request, as well as comprehensive support from the academic center staff.

Students follow a balanced and fulfilling schedule that defines wake-up and bedtime, attendance at language classes and campus events, and excursions. A clear daily routine helps students focus on both learning English and enjoying positive emotions from active participation.

Throughout the entire study period, from the moment of arrival in Cyprus to the completion of the course, students relax in an atmosphere of comprehensive support from the camp's qualified staff. Specialists are ready to provide answers to any questions and assistance in solving problems, whether it's arrival on the island, difficult adaptation, or medical needs.

Students can optionally choose a program that stipulates accommodation in twin rooms at a hotel located a two-minute walk from the beach. The rooms have everything necessary for a comfortable stay: from regular cleaning and towel/linen changes to a bathroom, air conditioning, and television. The hotel building has a laundry room and relaxation areas with free Wi-Fi.

Every day, students visit local cafes and restaurants during breakfast, lunch, and dinner — three meals a day are already included in the program cost and are organized in various gastronomic locations in the region. This approach will allow students to try national cuisine dishes and diversify their usual diet.

Students of the summer courses are waited for a rich leisure program, which stipulates more than 20 events, including:

• Guided tours of Larnaca, visiting the village of Lefkara, the ancient Roman theatre of Kourion, the medieval castle of Kolossi, and the old city of Nicosia,
• Sports activities: swimming, beach football and volleyball, badminton, archery and much more,
• Social events: shopping, city walks, barbecues,
• A boat trip to the Blue Lagoon with lunch,
• A visit to the water park,
• Scuba diving workshops,
• Outdoor activities: hiking, paintball, rock climbing, orienteering.

An unforgettable two-day event is being organized for students – a camping trip in the Troodos Mountains: they are famous for their dense forests, UNESCO cultural treasures, traditional events of local villages and residents. Students will stay in two- and four-person tents, while enjoying amenities such as a shower and toilet, an outdoor climbing wall, a paintball and laser tag field, and a local restaurant.

English classes are conducted on the campus of a local school, which is a two-minute walk from the hotel. Summer courses are organized in July, and the duration of study depends on the chosen format — with or without accommodation. The format also affects the number of services included in the price — for example, without accommodation, the following will be available:

• Walking tour of Larnaca, visiting the largest water park in Cyprus,

If a student chooses a board and lodging option, the cost of their 13-day program will include:

• Group transfer to/from Larnaca Airport,

Additional expenses include:

• Registration fee, entrance exam,

Applicants complete the registration form, pay the registration fee, and, after receiving a response from the admissions committee, pay the full program cost. Upon arrival on campus, students take a language test, based on the results of which they are assigned to groups and begin their studies.

Language courses have a positive impact not only on the development of English language skills, but also on the horizons and worldview of students. While in Cyprus, students make new friends of many different nationalities, learn about the culture and customs of the region, thereby gaining new knowledge about the world and people. By practicing their conversational skills with English-speaking staff and students on a daily basis, students significantly improve their overall level and use English more confidently in everyday life.
